Investing in Young Talent: WCS Abysena Launches Scholarship Program and Digital Career Preparation with AMIKOM Yogyakarta

The Scholarship Program in collaboration with Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta is part of WCS Abysena’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, held on July 2–3, 2026. This program aims to provide opportunities for high-achieving students while supporting the readiness of young talent to meet the demands of the digital industry.

Throughout the program, participants went through a series of selection stages, including a written test, technical interview, presentation, and group interview with the WCS Abysena team. In addition, WCS Abysena hosted a seminar titled “Kickstart Your Career in the Digital Era: Exploring ERP & Microsoft Technology,” offering insights into career opportunities in ERP and Microsoft technologies.

Gigih Prakoso, President Director of WCS Abysena, stated that this program reflects the company’s commitment to developing digital talent and strengthening collaboration with the education sector.

As a result of the program, WCS Abysena selected three students from Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta as scholarship recipients: Akmal Harizulhaq, Rifki Bayu Ariyanto, and Salman Abdurrahman, chosen from a total of 24 applicants. The scholarship covers tuition fees for semesters 7 and 8, graduation expenses, as well as internship opportunities and a service bond.

Through this initiative, WCS Abysena hopes to continue contributing to the development of young talent who are adaptable, continuously growing, and aligned with the evolving needs of the digital industry.
